About Lower Glen Ridge / The Glen
Southern section near the Bloomfield border. Named after the glen — the narrow wooded valley through which Toney's Brook runs, the geographic feature that gave the borough its name. Forest Avenue School and Central School (both Pre-K through 2) serve the area. Slightly more affordable entry into the Glen Ridge school district while retaining the gas lamps, slate sidewalks, and historic architecture.
